We serve the area from North East to the Susquehanna
River (Western Cecil County). Our goal is to help people find the way to change their
lives so that they don't need our help anymore. This includes
assisting them in finding a good-paying job, learning how to budget their
money, and connecting them with other services and agencies that will help
them succeed.
At the same time, we support these families during
their transition. Our free Food
Pantry gives supplemental food to
allow them to use their resources for other expenses. We also
provide clothing and furniture when needed.
Our Food Pantry has many customers who will always
require assistance because their incomes are inadequate for their
needs; these include the elderly, disabled, and others attempting to
survive on fixed incomes.
In the midst of all of this, Ray of Hope Mission Center
is still called upon to respond to emergencies in our
community. We assist families who have lost everything in
fires or natural disasters and we assist victims of domestic violence to
get to safety.
Through the gracious support of our member churches, we
are able to act as God's Hands on earth.
